What is your major? Computer Science
-
Why are you taking this
math class? Requirement for my major
-
Will you take other math
classes in the future at American University or will this be your only math
class? If yes, which classes will you take? Yes, Either Calculus II or Discrete Math (if it will be offered - it depends on the CS department)
-
What do you hope to
learn in this class? I don’t know much
about the advance classes of math here in US; so, anything new I will learn in
this class will be an educational point for me :-)
-
Is there anything else
you would like me to know about you? I’m
in my senior year and I’m excited for this class. Also, this is my first time
ever doing/posting a blog =)
Thank you!!
Dahlia
You wake up really early.
ReplyDeletei am in agreement with stephen, 8am is early! thank you for your responses, dahlia. i love frank sinatra, too!
ReplyDeletei was wondering why as a computer science major do you not have to take math 221? you said that you have to take calculus II but i don't think there is an applied calculus II, only the regular class, math 222. i'm not sure if this class will prepare you for math 222, but if your advisers told you to take this class, then i guess it's ok!
see you next week!
professor little
i just double checked the prerequisites for math 222 and this class IS a prereq, so yay!!!! =0]
ReplyDeleteStephan, I used to wake up around noon - but school implanted an early alarm into my brain that I can't turn off anymore. lol
ReplyDeleteProfessor Little, I'm glad to have another class with you, actually it will be a class and a half since the 150 class I tried to take with you...
Also, I don't have to take precalculus II, I can take discrete math which is related to my major more than any math class. However, our computer science department is small and our classes aren't offered every semester like other majors - so, if it will be offered on Fall14 then I'm done with everything and graduating...yay =)
Really cool major!! I didn't know that was available at AU.
ReplyDeletei am glad to have you in my class again, too, dahlia, and like yasmine, i did not know that there was a computer science program!
ReplyDeleteProps for deleting your Facebook. I've been thinking of doing the same for a while now.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteActually, I wish if it can be deleted forever, you can just deactivate your account and your info. get stuck in there.
All the best!
